About me
I’m Cuno de Bruin, a travel and commercial photographer based in the Netherlands, telling visual stories that connect people with places. My journey began at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam, but it truly took shape through years of traveling the world, chasing light, weather, and those fleeting, unplanned moments that make a story real.
My work blends documentary storytelling with design-driven composition, a perspective shaped by my background in graphic design. Every image balances precision and spontaneity, from the careful planning of a shot to the thrill of the unexpected.
Over the past decade, I’ve partnered with brands and tourism boards like Canon, SONOS, Fjällräven, Google, Switzerland Tourism, Peru Tourism, South Tyrol Tourism & many more creating campaign imagery, destination content, and cinematic storytelling that feels authentic and alive. My photography explores landscapes, human emotion, and the subtle connection between people and nature.
When I’m not on assignment, I’m home in the Netherlands with my wife and children. They remind me what truly matters and why I tell stories that connect us all.
