I’m Cuno de Bruin, a travel and commercial photographer based in the Netherlands, creating visual stories that connect people with places. My journey began at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam and truly took shape through years of traveling the world, chasing light, weather, and those fleeting, unplanned moments that make a story real.

My work is rooted in storytelling photography, blending documentary authenticity with design-driven composition shaped by my background in graphic design. I focus on capturing atmosphere, emotion, and narrative, balancing thoughtful preparation with the spontaneity of real life. Every image is created to feel honest, immersive, and meaningful.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked with international brands and tourism boards such as Canon, SONOS, Fjällräven, Google, Switzerland Tourism, Peru Tourism, and South Tyrol Tourism. I create campaign imagery, destination photography, and cinematic visual content that tells clear, authentic stories. In a world full of noise, strong visual storytelling helps brands and destinations stand out, build trust, and create emotional connection.

Alongside my commercial work, I’ve built a strong and engaged audience, with over 100.000 followers on Instagram and more than 19.000 followers on TikTok. Through these platforms, I share beautiful destinations and stories that inspire people to explore and visit these places themselves, helping tourism boards, brands, and products reach a global audience in a natural and credible way.

When I’m not on assignment, I’m either traveling or home in the Netherlands with my wife and our two sons. Sharing the beauty of the world with them is just as important to me as capturing it through my lens.
